Yes, our doves did hatch a chick and it has flown the coop. After several days of the nest being vacant we decided to make our move and relocate the nest. As you can see, the doves were very savvy when building their nest, making use of all sorts of construction tools available to them!

Now construction can resume on the deck project! Yippee! I enjoyed having the doves in the yard and I do hope they return next year. Mostly, I am relieved that no baby birds were eaten by my dogs!!
